Dance till you Drop is available for ‘anything dance’ at your preschool, primary school or vacation care.

We provide dance programs for primary schools, preschools and OSHC centres.

We are available for one off sessions, or ongoing programs. We also have a cultural dance based program which can be incorporated into one off sessions like Harmony Day or Multicultural Day, or running weekly for the term. 

We have a passion for dance, and most of all we love encouraging and developing each individuals self-confidence and rhythm.

We are also available for online virtual dance sessions. And have a Harmony Day Download available for all schools, country or city which can be used year after year!

Primary School

DANCE

At Dance till you Drop we specialise in providing primary school students with a dance program which is educational, fun, creative, and confidence building.

We recommend full term dance programs, yet can alter to more or less weeks to suit your school if need be. We also have one off dance sessions ie Harmony Day, and now even cover virtual sessions available for lock down and country schools.

Our dance sessions cover the strand of Dance in the Health & Physical Education syllabus, and able to align with The Arts also.

Vacation Care

All children love to dance! So why not join the many vacation care centres who are opting for our Dance till you Drop experience?

One of our experienced dance instructors come to your venue with pa system and conduct an interactive dance session which will engage the mixed ages, and both the boys and the girls!

We rotate the lines during our sessions to ensure everyone gets a turn at the front. We have a range of content to keep the children engaged and even a dance game or two, an "add onto the dance in groups" options if required.  Then to further build confidence, the children may perform their routine to each other, even the shy or hesitant students grow with this opportunity.

We also hand out DTYD stickers throughout the session.

About Our Dance Instructors

We pride ourselves on employing experienced dance instructors, whom the students will be easily engaged with and participate the best they can.

All of our instructors are industry professionals, which however doesn’t always ensure they would be a great teacher… There are extra skills and natural, personable traits they must have, this encourages students to be their best, and participate and learn in their classes.

It is also about the structure of a lesson and having the tips and tools to ensure that the session is most educational for each individual – but as a whole class at the same time.

We work closely with our team at all times to ensure the schools program is progressing well.

All instructors are covered on the Working With Children Check/Blue Card.

All staff at Dance till you Drop share the same passion for dance teaching and working with children, and it shows in their work and the excitement of the students.

Meet the DTYD director

My reason for starting Dance till you Drop, was to share the love of dance to boys and girls around Australia, especially to whose who would otherwise not get a chance to have an amazing dance experience.
With years of teaching dance, working as an entertainer for children and being a childrens photographer, my experience of getting the best out of the children comes easily. I love to share my tips and tricks to having productive engaging dance sessions with my team. I have choreographed many award winning eisteddfod troupes, and also have been the Performance Director for various Wakakirri and JRock items, which all took home many awards at the highest divisions. I founded a performing arts school, developing and encouraging children in dancing, singing and acting classes. Many of my students have gone on to have a career in dance and the performing industry. I feel that all children should have the opportunity to dance and perform. The smiles myself and the team witness on children's faces is so motivating to keep going, and getting into more schools every year.

Dance Till You Drop has provided a well-paced program including a variety of interesting music and dance styles for our girls. Miss Amelia, our dance teacher is engaging, upbeat and uses a suitably loud voice.
